Why do you charge shipping instead of offering "Free Shipping"?
Share
At FraguLuxe, we believe in transparent pricing.
The truth is: there’s really no such thing as free shipping — shipping costs are paid somewhere. Many retailers simply build those costs into the product price.
We choose a different approach: keep product prices lower and charge actual shipping costs separately whenever possible.
Why? Because it often saves you money — especially when buying multiple items.
Example:
If we added a flat $7.95 shipping cost into every product price:
-
1 item at $10 → $17.95 total
-
2 items at $10 each → $35.90 total
With our shipping model:
-
1 item at $10 → $17.95 total
-
2 items at $10 each → $29.45 total
That’s a $6.45 savings simply because we combine shipping instead of charging hidden shipping costs on every item.
By separating product pricing from shipping costs, we’re able to:
✔ Keep everyday prices lower
✔ Offer better value on multi-item orders
✔ Avoid inflating prices to cover “free shipping” marketing
Our goal is simple: fair pricing, transparent costs, and better savings when you shop more.
